Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of NextEpi on the web and in the mobile apps. By creating an account, signing in or continuing as a guest, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use NextEpi.

NextEpi is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or older. By using the platform, you declare that you are 18 or older and legally able to accept these Terms.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, the account may be closed and its data deleted.

NextEpi lets you track TV shows, anime and movies: log watched episodes, follow the next episode and the release calendar, receive notifications, rate and review titles, organize collections and keep a public profile.

Some features vary depending on your plan (Free or Premium) and the platform you use.

You can use NextEpi without an account, as a guest. In that case your list is stored only on your device or browser and may be lost if the app or browser data is cleared. When you create an account, your guest list is uploaded to it.

With an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under it. Tell us immediately about any unauthorized use.

• Keep your account information up to date.
• Accounts are personal; sharing an account may result in limited or suspended access.

Authentication is handled by an identity provider (Auth0) and may use third-party accounts such as Google. You are responsible for the security of your account with those providers.

NextEpi has no access to the passwords used with those services.

You can publish content on NextEpi, such as ratings, reviews, a display name, a username, a public profile and public or collaborative collections. You remain the owner of that content and are responsible for it.

By publishing content that others can see, you grant NextEpi a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, reproduce and distribute that content within the platform and in share images it generates, for as long as the content is published.

Content marked as public can be seen by anyone with the link, including people without an account. In collaborative collections, invited members can view and change items according to the permission the owner granted.

• You may not publish content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, infringes others' rights or contains other people's personal data without permission.
• Usernames may not impersonate NextEpi or anyone else, and may be refused if they are reserved or resemble the NextEpi brand.
• We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms. To report content, write to the contact email at the end of these Terms.

Information about titles, episodes, images and streaming availability comes from third-party sources such as TMDB. We do not guarantee the accuracy of release dates, streaming availability or other third-party information.

History imports from TV Time and Trakt are also subject to those services' terms. You are responsible for having the right to import the data you upload.

Features labelled "Beta" are provided as-is and may change or be removed at any time.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

The Free plan may show ads from advertising partners. Premium subscribers do not see ads. How partners handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.

• Recurring billing: monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose, processed by Stripe.
• Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each cycle until cancelled.
• Free trial: when offered, the trial length, the price and the date of the first charge are shown before you confirm. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the first charge happens automatically.
• Price changes: new prices apply from the next cycle and are announced in advance to active subscribers.
• Payment failures: if a charge cannot be processed, access to Premium features may be suspended until payment is resolved.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the subscription portal in the app settings.

• Cancelling stops future charges.
• Premium access continues until the end of the period already paid.

You may withdraw from the subscription within 7 days of the first charge and receive a full refund of the amount paid, as provided by article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. For consumers in the European Union, this period is 14 days.

After that period, refund requests are reviewed case by case, without prejudice to the rights guaranteed by applicable law.

To request a refund, write to the contact email at the end of these Terms with the email of your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Attempt to access other people's accounts
• Reverse engineer the application
• Automate access abusively or scrape the service
• Interfere with the availability or security of the service
• Exploit vulnerabilities without authorization

NextEpi's brand, design, software and other elements are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant any license to exploit the platform commercially.

Third-party trademarks, images and data belong to their respective owners.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NextEpi is provided "as is" and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of third-party information (catalog, authentication, payments and notifications).

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NextEpi's total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that consumer protection law guarantees and that cannot be waived by contract.

We aim to keep NextEpi available, but interruptions may happen due to maintenance, updates or external factors. Urgent maintenance for security or stability may happen without prior notice.

You can request deletion of your account at any time in the app settings. Deletion is scheduled for 30 days, during which you can restore the account. After that, the account and its data are permanently deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform or compromise other people's security.

• Deleting your account does not cancel financial obligations already due.
• An active subscription has its renewal cancelled when deletion is requested.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

Your right as a consumer to bring claims in the courts of your place of residence is preserved, as are the mandatory rights granted by the law of the country where you live.

We may update these Terms. Changes that affect your rights or obligations will be announced in advance, in the app, by email or by notification, and you will need to accept the new version to keep using your account.

Wording fixes that do not change rights or obligations may be published without a new acceptance. The current version and the last update date are shown on this page.

• If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
• These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and NextEpi about using the platform.
• Not enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
• NextEpi may transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms in a reorganization or sale of the business, keeping the protections set out here.
